I have recently become interested in blacksmithing and started by building my own coal forge to get started. I searched the internet and saw a few to model mine after. I customized mine with attachments and features that I wanted. I think mine came out nice and it works well for me. The only drawback is that I have to use it outside, which makes it only a seasonal activity here in upstate NY. A propane forge is my next plan for an upgrade.

ReplyDeleteInterested in your mobil coal forge. Want to know more about the pan and if it is cast material. Also how it is vented to create the high heat for the coal.
